For owners outside Arizona
Ship your classic to Arizona. We handle the rest.
Owners in California and across the country send their classic cars to our Arizona shops. We can arrange the transport or help you with your own, keep you informed every step of the way, and get the car back home to you.
How it works
Five steps, one point of contact
- 1
Send photos and talk to us
Use the estimate form or call us. We review your photos and talk through the project by phone or video.
- 2
Agree on the plan
We explain what the car needs and build a plan and budget with you before anything moves.
- 3
Choose your transport
We arrange it through our transport partner, you arrange your own, or we help you set it up. Whichever you choose, we coordinate the drop off at our shop.
- 4
Follow the work from home
At least one update every week, with photos, and a call, text or email as soon as a decision is needed.
- 5
Back home to you
A final check and road test, then the car goes home, with our transport partner, your own carrier or you behind the wheel.
Cars from out of state
They already made the trip
Owners outside Arizona already trust us with their cars. Here are a few that came through our shops and went home to other states.
Why Copperstate
Worth the trip
- Working on classic cars since 1986, and a worldwide reference for late 1950s MOPAR and Cadillac
- More than 3,000 cars exported around the world, so moving classics safely is familiar work
- Classic cars only, across three Arizona shops, including our own body and paint shop
- One plan, one budget and one point of contact from pickup to delivery

Questions
What out of state owners ask us
Can you work on my car if I live outside Arizona?
Yes. Many of our projects start with photos and a phone or video call, and you get at least one update every week, with photos, while we work.
How does transport work?
You choose. We can arrange pickup and delivery through our trusted transport partner, so you deal with one point of contact: us. You can also arrange your own transport, or we can help you set it up, for example by recommending a carrier and coordinating the drop off with them. Either way, we do our best to arrange transport at your convenience, or as fast as possible.
How do I approve work from far away?
You stay in full control of what is done on your car. You get at least one update every week, whether we need a decision from you or not, and we contact you as soon as something comes up. We call, text or email you, often all three, with all the information and photos you need to make an informed decision, and we keep a written record of what we suggested and what you approved.
How do payments work?
The same way as for our local customers. There is no deposit: we charge per hour and email you an invoice every Friday. With a card on file, we charge it the following Tuesday, so you have four days to ask us about anything on the invoice.
Can I visit while my car is being worked on?
Of course. Just let us know when you are coming so we can walk you through the progress.
